Peace In Israel? - My Political Self

It should be well known by now that on Tuesday, 7 October 2025, the still living hostages were returned to Israel just two years from the day they were taken.

This, in theory, was accomplished by Dump*, but, of course, he did not do this alone. And while we can all admit that it was done because he showed up in Israel, it was not done for the reasons most people would think.

For those still unaware of it, Dump has been angling for a Nobel Peace prize since his inauguration – and probably long before then. Apart from his NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder), which requires that he receive accolades for things he has NOT accomplished, his racism will not allow him to let President Obama’s Nobel prize to go unequaled. How, he must think, can an inferior black man win such a coveted honor when a far superior (ha ha ha) white man, such as myself, not win this prize? Notwithstanding that President Obama won it on his own merits, that the Nobel committee thoroughly reviewed his nominations, background, and credentials, and awarded him the prize without his foreknowledge, Dump simply can’t stand it. And, of course, winning the Nobel would be the icing on the undeserved cake he has already half-eaten, and would show his detractors that he is the success everyone told him he had no chance of being.
Because of his NPD, he couldn’t care less about Israel and its people. How, you ask, can I say this? Well, Dump had promised, loudly and frequently, during his campaign that he would end both the Israel/Gaza and Ukraine/Russia conflicts “…on day one.” Did that happen? Nope. And while the Ukraine/Russia war is ongoing (as of this writing), the Israeli hostages were held for nearly nine (9) additional months after Dump’s inauguration. Anyone who really cared about Israel and about the suffering of fellow human beings would have boarded the negotiation train much sooner.
Dump continuously says that the US is a “Christian country,” which it is not. We Americans practice a variety of faiths, and the First Amendment to the Constitution explicity says that there shall be no government sponsorship of religion. And while it may be true that his beloved daughter, Ivanka, converted to Judaism, and her husband and children are all Jewish, this is not a factor in his “thought process” (I use the term loosely because the anencephalic among us cannot think). He is antiSemetic to the core.
Someone in this “administration” failed him by not telling him exactly when the Nobel Peace Prize would be announced. Of course, only the Nobel committee knows for certain, but if someone had told him it would be in early October, maybe he’d have started a serious push earlier in the year. Maybe he figured that he could accomplish the hostage release and ceasefire any time in October and the Nobel committee would just drop its chosen winner in favor of him, but they don’t do things that way. Tough toenails.
Dump has presented a plan for taking Gaza (through hegemony, no doubt) and turning it into a resort. He has even shown us artists’ renderings of what it would look like. So let’s just say that it was to his advantage to let Israel destroy as much of it as it could before any serious peace talks would take place. Sounds cynical? It isn’t. I just listen to the news. Further, I am willing to bet that PM Netanyahu made a deal with Dump that if they could get the Palestinians out by destroying Gaza, he would get a percentage of Dump’s proposed resort. I wouldn’t put it past either of them as they are both criminals (yes, Netanyahu is on trial in Israel), and “birds of a feather…”

I am ashamed of Israel. Israel is supposed to be “…a light unto the nations…,” yet it is failing because the Israeli people, like we Americans, re-elected a criminal as their leader. For people like Dump and Netanyahu, only their own, personal selves matter. So the fact that Dump dove in at the last minute, and the fact that Netanyahu has allowed – maybe caused – Israel to be hated rather than respected, is a clear enough sign that neither of them gives a rat’s furry posterior about Israel or about “…love thy neighbor as thyself.” This hostage exchange and ceasefire are purely for purposes of self-aggrandizement, and should either, or both, win a Nobel peace prize because of it, the Nobel committee will have debased itself.

As for Gaza, yes, I want to see Hamas and Hezbollah destroyed, and the civilian population allowed to live in peace until some sort of compromise is reached regarding their land and/or government. However, I suspect neither result will be the case. The collateral damage done by Netanyahu has resulted in not only the deaths of many innocent civilians, but in Israel losing it’s reputation for humanism and survival, and its becoming hated by many of those who once stood by it through thick and thin. I am not one of the latter because I am able to separate Natanyahu from Israel, but that he is its leader is a mistake that must be repaired. In addition, I believe that many more pockets of Hamas and Hezbollah will spring from groups of children whose families were killed by Netanyahu’s policies. He has created his own enemies, and in conjunction with Dump he has sullied Israel’s reputation.
